IHP was founded to change the world of horses and other equines, whose rights have always been trampled on due to ignorance, inadequate laws, exploitation, and unscrupulous trade. We do this by working every day with consistency and professionalism . This ambition has concrete costs: legal and health consultancy, participation in industry events and conferences, travel and investigations, and information and awareness campaigns. These costs are in addition to the enormous expenses of the Recovery Center, the first in Italy established to welcome and recover equines saved from mistreatment and abuse.
